The above stereogram has the words VIRTUAL REALITY as two lines of text which appear to stand out above the background. To see them, view the monitor from a distance of about 16-18 inches. Allow your eves to go out of focus as though you were looking at a distant object. After a short time the words should appear. It is then easier to keep them in focus and slight movements demonstrate the 3-D effect. About 20% of the population cannot see these images at all.
