ARCHITECTURE DESIGN and WALK THROUGHS
A wide range of available software is used by the architectural industry both for
design and sales. 
In Japan it is possible to tour a virtual room or house, interact and make
changes, and order. Shown here is a view from such a walk through.
Notice the virtual hand. Using a control glove or similar device, the user can
interact. For example, here the operator has just turned on the water faucet.
After modifications, the kitchen may be ordered and within five days the custom kitchen will be installed in the real house.
Software to allow 3-D fly-around and walk-through was unavailable or extremely expensive only a few years age. It is now possible to find such programs at low prices almost everywhere. The scenes below are from such a program which was obtained from K-Mart for $10.

Design may be view as wire-frame, solid, color added, or textured.
Designs may be viewed, changed, or created from a floor plan view.
Images can show entire house or individual floors from a variety of views and angles. Look-around, fly-around, and walk-through functions are available.
