WACTE works to provide legislative information to its membership for the purpose of encouraging advocacy for public policy beneficial to career and technical education programming.   The annual legislative Seminar held in Madison provides updates, education and opportunities or members to discuss issues with state lawmakers,.  Through a developing legislative network, it presents the views of workforce education professionals to policymakers.
