Lucky "Bamboo" (Dracaena sanderiana)

Lots of people think Lucky "Bamboo" is bamboo since it does sort of look like it (and of course it is marketed that way). The above photo shows a bamboo to the right for comparison. The plant is really Dracaena sanderiana. My Lucky Dracaena is luckier than most. I planted mine in soil. My feeling is that it is best planted in soil since it is not a water plant. From what I've observed, the plants won't do much in water except eventually rot. I planted mine in soil and it immediately began to look better.
