The MATC Foundation Innovation
Grants Program
was established in 1999 to provide faculty, staff, and students with a
means to develop innovative projects that promote student success,
increase visibility for and understanding of the college, or otherwise
enhance learning. Funding decisions are made by a joint committee of
Foundation board and faculty/staff members. Approved projects are those
that could not otherwise be funded by the College budget. While larger
amounts have been approved in a few cases, Innovation Grants typically
range between $1,000 - $5,000. Grant proposals are due in November and
February.
