MATC Writing Center
The goal of the MATC Writing Center is to offer assistance to students who may need additional support with writing assignments. Our primary focus is to provide further instruction on writing to students, not to edit or fix their work. Therefore, the atmosphere of the MATC Writing Center is collaborative, instructive, non-judgmental, and non-threatening. Students may seek assistance at the Center at any time during their writing process from brainstorming to proofreading. The instructors in the Center will help the students to identify problems with their papers and to find strategies that will result in more effective writing.
