Overview
The purpose of this presentation is to practice pronunciation and grammar skills, to practice using imperatives, to formulate and respond to clarification questions, to provide information for classroom discussion, and to choose vocabulary and oral expressions carefully to communicate clearly.

b. during formal presentations given in the classroom.

Learning Objectives
This learning plan addresses the following learning objectives to help you master the competency:
a. apply specific grammar skills learned in practice exercises (from text) in oral presentations.
b. identify specific grammar structures (tag questions, real conditionals, compound sentences, past continuous affirmative and negative statements) when used by others.

Learning Activities

Using imperatives, instructor will cite the following requirements for this presentation: a.) Use at least one "real conditional", b) use "present perfect" tense at least once, c.) using imperatives, students should give clear directions so that students can follow along in the activity as you demonstrate it, d.) use pronunciation strategies (reductions, intonation, stress) to communicate clearly, e.)take clarification questions as presentation is given, and f.) entire presentation should be of a specific length .

Instructor will introduce the word "imperatives" and the class will discuss what they are and how they are used in formal and informal communication.

Student will give process presentation, bringing visual aids and supplies (so that the class can participate in the demonstrated activities during the presentation).

Following each presentation, the observers will discuss: a) how well the presenter met the requirements for the presentation, and (b)how they would summarize what was presented.

(Teacher could document which students ask clarification/ tag questions during the presentations in order to demonstrate application of these competencies for this course.)
