Windows
comes bundled with a basic text editing program called "WordPad." It's
a scaled-down version of MS Word.
To open WordPad, click Start > Programs > Accessories > WordPad. You should see a window similar to below.

Click once inside the white area and then type in the following words:
WordPad overview
With WordPad, you can create and edit simple text documents or documents with complex formatting and graphics.
Your window should look something like below.

When you have edited the document to your satisfaction, save it.
