HELP...

This CD contains Microsoft Power Point presentations. If you have problems viewing the shows, please check the solutions listed below. If you encounter a problem not listed here, please check our website for updates or fill out a problem report.

1. When you insert the CD into your drive, it should autoplay. If it does not autoplay, try any of the following:

• Reinsert the CD and wait at least 30 seconds. Otherwise,
• Double-click your CD drive icon. Otherwise, 
• Browse the CD the old-fashioned way! 
  • I.e., right-click on your CD icon and choose "Explore." 
  • Explore the contents of the CD, and
  • Double-click the arlite.exe icon.

2. If you do not have PowerPoint installed, 
you must first install the VIEWER:

• If you have Windows 95, 98, or ME:
  • Click on the 2nd CD menu item, "Install Viewer." Otherwise,
• If you have Windows 3.1:
  • Click on the 3rd CD menu item, "Browse this CD"
  • open the PPT4View folder, and
  • double-click vsetup.exe.

3. If Windows cannot find PowerPoint even though you have PowerPoint or the Viewer installed:

• The default location for PowerPoint is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
• If you cannot find PowerPoint, 
  • Go to START | PROGRAM 
  • Right-click the PowerPoint shortcut icon in the program menu 
  • Select PROPERTIES from the popup menu to view PowerPoint's location.
• If you cannot find the PowerPoint icon, 
  • Click on START | FIND | FILES...
  • Search for powerpnt.exe.
• You may want to associate the PowerPoint program with the PPS extension so that Windows will know to use PowerPoint with those files that end in .PPS. 
  • For instructions on how to do this, use Windows help system: 
  • Click START | HELP and lookup associating. 

4. The main files on this CD are:

• The auto-play presentation: OPTIONHS.pps
• The self-guided tour (manual version): SELFTOUR.pps
• For older PCs, the version 4 Presentation: opti_pp4.ppt.

Please WAIT for these presentations to load. You may need to wait 60 seconds. Do not click them repeatedly or you could lock up your system. :-) --Mike.
