It will be worth ten points, and will be graded based upon neatness, the correct steps being shown, and the correctness of the final answer.

  3. ( __ / 5 ) Read section 4.1 in Calculus: Early Transcendental Functions, third edition by Robert T. Smith and Roland B. Minton.. Write a brief outline of the section, including vocabulary and main formulas or definitions.

     

  4. Please write in the space below how many extra credit problems you did, and highlight each extra credit problem in your homework. You may do up to 25 unassigned problems from today's section or sections for extra credit. Each problem will be worth one extra point.
